I think that for pre-school and primary school children it will be a hit but I can't imagine there being many 9-year-olds who would prefer one of these to a 'grown-up' tablet. Art studio is great and works like paint but has a few more tricks to it for making pretty things like butterfly stampers.Great to have a review from someone I believe, I cant believe it but I have won one of these from Attachment Mummy’s blog, I could not of been able to afford one myself so I am soo happy I won one, I cant wait to see Spud’s face on Christmas day. They do break them down by age though but with just 2 downloads it's hard to know whether a 7-9 game or a 5-6 game would be best for her. The best place to start with the set up is by hooking the Innotab 2 up to the computer using the USB cable, and downloading the 'Learning Lodge Navigator' download to your computer.

The good news is that your child cannot get access to any apps outside of the ones in Learning Lodge. The stylus really makes getting around this tablet a doddle and interacting with all of the features. Not only is the slot still hard to access (it's still located very close to one of the battery compartments), but a MicroSD card is not as common as an SD card in most people's homes.I was able to test out this tablet style computer for kids age 4-9 and was really pleased with the features and options. Another difference between the two is that the InnoTab 3 has 2GB of built in storage whereas the InnoTab 3S has 4GB. The tablet comes with a stylus to help you draw on the screen and you can 'paint' or 'draw' until your heart's content using lots of different colours and brushes. The Innotab 2 requires 4AA batteries to function and you will be pleased to know that battery changes are really simple, by just pushing the release button on the back of the Innotab to access to battery compartment. Includes a photo/video camera, a 5-inch touch screen, 2 GB of onboard memory, and plays MP3s, photos, and videos.

Use the tilt sensor to interact with games, use the touch screen or D-pad controller to choose directions and talk into the microphone to add to the fun! Unfortunately we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses and some large items are shipped directly from our suppliers who ship to the UK mainland only. This means that the InnoTab can grow with your child by updating the content to their abilities and interests. The motion sensor lets you turn, tilt, and move the tablet in different directions for additional fun while game playing. The fun continues with many on-board applications such as an MP3 Player, Video Player, Art Studio, Friends List, Calculator, and Clock engaging kids for hours as they develop their skills with this electronic learning toy.It also has a built-in microphone, headphone jack, and four different media players: an e-book reader, MP3 music player, photo viewer, and video player. The design of the D-Pad is different on each tablet but they both introduce physical arrow controls which are useful for some games and navigation functions.
